The Governors of Christleton High School are seeking to recruit, from January 2020, an inspirational Assistant Headteacher for our ‘outstanding’ school. 

Christleton High School, situated near Chester, is a high-achieving, successful 11-18 non-selective, co-educational Academy school, with 1350 students. However, we do not wish to rest on our laurels and it is very much our desire to build on these excellent foundations and to see Christleton become increasingly world class. Accordingly, the assistant headship position is full of opportunity and challenge. 

As a current senior or middle leader in a secondary school, you will be able to display the highest levels of energy and enthusiasm, as well as able to demonstrate significant whole-school impact in your current role, which has led to sustained and meaningful improvements. You will share our commitment to the education of young people and will have the drive and imagination to take our school to the next level. We are looking for a candidate who is outward looking for new ideas and a strong track record of curriculum development and the strategic use of data to improve teaching and learning and whole school quality assurance processes that have positively impacted on school outcomes.
