Job vacancy: Exams Assistant (Part-time)

Part-time: 3 days per week, term-time plus 3 weeks in school holidays,

(to include exam results periods).

Temporary, in the first instance, until August 2023,

(possibility of becoming permanent).

To start as soon as possible

Salary Grade 5: SCP6 - SCP11, £21,968 - £24,054 full-time equivalent;

pro-rata for part-time, part-year.

We are seeking a highly organised person with a good attention to detail, who is able to manage their own time effectively, to assist our Exams Officer with the running of our school Exams Office. The days of work are Monday - Wednesday, 3 days per week, term-time, plus three weeks in the school holidays, (two of which include exam results weeks in August). Usual hours are 7 per day, however, flexibility will be needed to work longer hours in the run up to, and during, internal and external exam seasons. We also have a second Exams Assistant, who works Thursdays and Fridays, so you will need good communication skills to job share the Exams Assistants weekly tasks. You will need to be flexible and have good levels of initiative in order to perform the many and varied duties. Training and mentoring will be provided as part of the induction process.
