Salary: L32 – L39 (£94,898 - £112,601). Negotiable for a suitably experienced candidate.

Required: September 2023 or January 2024, depending on notice period required.

The Governors of Christleton High School, are seeking to appoint an inspirational Headteacher, who will provide outstanding leadership for the school, who drives success and continuous improvement, ensuring excellent standards of learning and achievement, the highest quality education and the best possible outcomes for all our students.

Christleton High School is a heavily over-subscribed, “outstanding” academy, located in the village of Christleton, just three miles from the centre of Chester. We are an 11-18 comprehensive school with around 1395 students including a sixth form. Our exam results are amongst the best in the area and we are known for the quality and breadth of our extra-curricular activities.

Students, staff and governors share a boundless ambition to be the best we can be, and we are constantly searching for new ways to secure the best possible outcomes for all our young people.
