The Governors are seeking to appoint a talented, committed and enthusiastic SENDCO.
We are looking to appoint a SENDCO/Deputy Safeguarding Lead, to join our Intervention and Safeguarding team. The successful candidate will develop an inspiring vision, using the new SEND Framework and Code of Practice, to support children with SEND to make excellent progress. You will work alongside the Assistant Headteacher for Inclusion and Safeguarding and an experienced inclusion team to achieve this vision.
Experience of working with pupils with additional educational needs with a focus on improving progress and closing the gaps is essential. Ideally you will already hold the National SENCO Award and have some responsibility for SEND in a secondary school setting. Knowledge and experience of safeguarding is also essential.
