Notice from Planning and Strategic Transport Places Strategy at Cheshire West and Chester

We have been advised by Planning and Strategic Transport Places Strategy at Cheshire West and Chester that they currently have a problem with the yellow stored value TravelCards (these can be used by anybody and topped up with cash to pay for travel). 

Unfortunately, the bus drivers have no alternative but to advise students that they now need to pay by cash for their fares whilst this issue is being resolved.  Bus operators have been asked to display the following notice:-

Travelcards:

There is a temporary technical issue with the travelcards, which means they are not working on the bus ticket machines. Whilst this is being resolved, please ensure students have cash to purchase a ticket. We apologise for any inconvenience and we are working to resolve this issue as soon as possible.
