We need your help!

Over the last few months, we have been concerned and unhappy with the reliability of Sims Learning Gateway (SLG) and given the importance of having a robust ‘Track My Child System’. We have been looking at alternative systems to SLG.

We believe this lack of reliability is due to Capita looking to ‘retire the system’ in the coming months. We have looked at various options suggested by Capita and other providers in the market to ensure that we have the very best option available to our parents as a result. One particular system has been identified as an affective replacement.

We have extensively trialled it amongst our own staff and we are now looking for a small number of parents to take part in an extended trial for the remainder of this academic year and into the summer break. This systems has been used effectively within other schools including one within our trust.

We are ideally looking for parents who either currently use SLG or have used SLG but have grown frustrated with its complexity and lack of up to date feel. The new system has an app for android and ios as well as having browser capabilities for Windows phones and laptops/desktop computers.

Providing this final trial is successful we plan to launch the new system to all parents in September 2019.
